Subject aims/Content

This course explores the relationship between computers, technology, and various social, ethical, legal, and cultural aspects of our lives. The course aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of how computers and technology impact society and how societal factors, in turn, shape the development and use of computers. It aims to foster a deeper understanding of the broader implications of technology, equipping students with the knowledge to navigate the complexities of the digital age responsibly and ethically. In this course discusses about the benefits of computers and their impact on society, pay attention to health while using the computer, the role of the internet in everyday life, both in terms of work and communication, the laws and regulations in using computers, and how to protect and maintain user privacy.
