Subject aims/Content

This course develops self-competencies, especially effective oral and written communication skills in English specifically related to Information Technology. In this course, students are assumed to have basic English skills obtained in English courses. Through this course, students will learn about technical terms in the field of IT professionals (such as computer systems, websites, databases, e-commerce, IT support, network systems, IT security and technology, IT systems, data communications, administration, interactions, developments, IT solutions). In addition, students will learn terms in the IT field in English, how to make correct IT job application letters in English, and communicate in English for work purposes in the dynamics of the global IT industry.
