Subject aims/Content

This course serves as an introduction to interpersonal communication's ideas, concepts, and field. This is not a class on public speaking. The self-concept, perception, emotions, language, nonverbal communication, listening, conflict, various sorts of personal relationships, and the influence of elements like sex and gender, internet communication, and culture on all of these issues are among the subjects covered in this course. Being a good listener, comprehending what is being said, and offering a constructive, useful response are examples of interpersonal skills. A person with strong interpersonal skills can choose to mediate a conflict amongst coworkers that is keeping them from finishing a crucial assignment. The suggested course is a personality development program designed to prepare students to handle the many challenges of the working world. Soft skills are becoming increasingly important to companies since it has become difficult to succeed in business. Having the correct soft skills, whether teamwork, communication or fast thinking, can help job candidates stand out. To make one's speech impressive, this course will also emphasize pronunciation. One needs a strong set of technical abilities to flourish in a career.
